Mikey Patriquin · Founder

I started 10 Ton in 2010 and I have run it myself since. When you hire me, you get me. Not an account manager, not a junior handed your project after the pitch, not a subcontractor in another timezone. The person you talk to is the person doing the work.

I genuinely love this stuff. Not just the building, though I do love that. I love the whole shape of a business: how pricing decisions ripple into positioning, why one company earns referrals and the one next door does not, what actually makes someone trust you enough to hand over money. I read about it constantly. I ask business owners questions they were not expecting. It is the most interesting puzzle I have found.

And I am obsessive about the technology. I test the tools before I recommend them. I follow what is happening in AI closely, because the ground is moving fast and most of what gets written about it is either hype or fear. I want to know what actually works, what is a toy, and what is going to matter to a small business in eighteen months. That takes real time every week, and I spend it.

The reason is straightforward. I love this stuff. I would rather do the reading and give you the honest answer, even when the honest answer is that you do not need what I sell.
